Stats: ~82km | 550m Climb
Grade: Intermediate
This beautiful ride begins in Cernobbio (or wherever your hotel is located), where we stretch our legs along the mostly level but wonderfully winding western edge of Lake Como. At Cadenabbia we board the ferry that takes us on a short, but captivating, crossing of the lake, delivering us to Bellagio for a quick, but not-to-be missed coffee stop at the Pasticceria Rossi, the oldest Cafeteria in Bellagio, before we tackle the iconic 10k climb to Madonna del Ghisallo. Here, take your time and take in the Madonna’s rich history. And when ready, we’ll enjoy a leisurely descent to lake Como’s eastern coastline, finally returning to Como

★★★★★Pietro - Laya and I just wanted to send you a quick email letting you know we had such an amazing time riding with you last week in Lake Como. It was truly one of the big highlights of our entire honeymoon!

★★★★★Pietro, I wanted to let you know that I had a fantastic ride! I tried to follow “The Border Run” route you describe on your website as best I could and it was tough and awesome. The bike was perfect, the weather was perfect, the place was perfect!

★★★★★Pietro, you put on an outstanding ride for our little group. The ability to join three guys that will never meet otherwise, putting us together for the ride was very cool. Being my first time to the area I was nervous. You put me at ease and we just rode. It was perfect.

★★★★★I am still speechless! That was one of the most amazing days - we both had such a fantastic time. We loved the very different views and conditions on the west vs east side of the lake. We also enjoyed the many stops for coffee, lunch and walks amongst the shops. I loved it so much I was ready to do another loop!
